How can glass bottle manufacturers avoid halos in olive oil glass bottles?

1. If an olive oil glass bottle has a halo, its chemical stability will decrease, and the clearer the green ring, the poorer the chemical stability. After filling the medicine, the dissolution of volatile substances can easily increase the pH value of the medicine and contaminate it.

2. On the inner wall near the bottom of the formed olive oil glass bottle, there is a circle of white mist called halo, which is basically the product of volatilization and condensation of components such as NaO, K2O, B2O3, etc. According to research, it is believed that it is caused by improper control of temperature, time, gas to oxygen ratio, etc. during the sealing process of the molding machine.

3. Therefore, it is important to strictly control the process parameters when sealing the bottom of the olive oil glass bottle molding machine, especially to control the heating temperature to be lower than the volatilization temperature of alkaline borate to avoid the formation of halos.

4. In the processing of olive oil glass bottles, sometimes high temperature heating is used to increase production, and the bottom temperature can reach 1400 ℃. The overheating of the bottom glass results in the local volatilization of alkaline borate and its attachment to the inner surface of the safety part. If the metal aluminum powder is placed in the safety part and shaken, a 1-2mm aluminum powder adhesion ring can be seen near the bottom and shoulder of the olive oil glass bottle, which is the area where the volatiles attach.
